Compulsory for everyone buying a furnace direct from Niesenglas Tech. Can be requested, for example, if you buy a second model or are a new member of staff in an educational institution.
Workshop on operating and maintaining the studio, melting glass, crucible replacement (2 days)
This workshop is designed for educational institutions and is a more in-depth induction into the working of the furnace.
Mobile events
We offer a mobile service with our NG Flamingo furnace, this can be taliored to met the needs of your group and event. Here is a sample of what we can offer:
- Introduction to glassblowing, learn about hot glass, the basics of shaping and forming with traditional tools, blow your first glass.
- Thematic glass workshops that are in-line with your current intuitional projects. For example we have provided design based workshops for students in ETH Zurich and ECAL.
- We are provide public demonstrations for larger events. Here we will make glass objects while explaining the process to those watching.
